Find accounts, physicians, and contacts with identical normalized names. An admin reviews the candidates, chooses the record to keep, and merges one discarded record at a time.
Candidate groups use normalized account and physician names, and trimmed case-insensitive contact names.
Choose one record to keep and one to discard after reviewing the candidate group.
Linked cases, contacts, activities, and tasks move to the kept record as applicable.
The crm.deduplication_merge event records keepId, discardId, and moved cases, contacts, activities, and tasks counts.
Open Deduplication as an admin and choose accounts, physicians, or contacts.
Review the pair and select the record to keep.
Linked records move to the kept record and the discarded record is deactivated. There is no UI undo.
